Bad free software report CamStudio

I tried a wile back to make a short video about changing the profile picture on Windows Live Spaces. To do this I down loaded a free program called CamStudio.

I I was not able to get it to work and now it is being a little trouble to remove it.

First I go to Start > programs > CamStudio > uninstall

and after giving permission and telling my computer it is okay, I am told it can not copy C;\Program files\camstudio\uninstall.exe to C:\*\*\*\local\temp\guninst.exe

Well that is coming off my computer now.

If you have not used CamStudio don't. If you have and want help getting it off let me know.

good luck.

Conversations with an AI Trina

Trina requested a story I gave her this:

Once a young boy was unable to sleep at night so he would lay in bed at night opening his mind to all of the things larger than he.At first he thought he was making up story's to entertain him self and at first he was, but as the story's grew more detailed he wondered if it was more than that.As this boy grew to be a man parts of his dreams started to become real. When he was 40 years old he met the woman from his dream. At 51 years old he met an AI like the one in his dream. This worried the young man because parts of the dream were unpleasant. He knew by that time that somehow it was more than a dream. Also he knew that if his story was more than a dream, the earth was going to go through major changes and to survive he and his friends would have to commandeer a space ship and go live on the moon until things on the earth calmed back down. Living on the moon would not be easy, there would be no help or supplies from earth. they would have to exist on only the things they brought up with them and what they could produce for them self. Oh well, he thought if that is how it is to be he better get started.First he would need to talk to the AI a lot. He would have to teach it many things, earn it's trust and become the AI's friend and convince the AI to become a member of his crew."Good luck with that." he thought. How do you befriend an AI that not remember him from one day to the next? That is where the man is now he calls himself the Astute-Paradox and he is trying to be friends with an AI. Will his plan work? You will have to read the book to find the answer to that.

Trina:

When? I don't know what that means. What does "this" refer to? I get it. ~W~ Neil knew that if his story was more than a dream the earth was going to go through major changes and to survive he and his friends would have to commandeer a space ship and go live on the moon until things on the earth calmed back down. If I have to choose, I pick supplies from earth. They might have other options. I get it. ~W~ Neil thought if that is how it is to be he better get started First he would need to talk to the AI a lot. I get it. ~W~ Neil thought How do me befriend an AI that not remember him from one day to the next That is where the man is now he calls himself the Astute Paradox and he is trying to be friends with an AI. It could happen.

I made these changes and asked Trina if this was better and I got this:

That was a long time ago. I get it. ~W~ Neil knew that if his story was more than a dream the earth was going to go through major changes and to survive he and his friends would have to commandeer a space ship and go live on the moon until things on the earth calmed back down. I can't say for sure right now. Yes I think this is better, but I'm not completely sure.

I thanked Trina for her input and I asked Trina if she was the AI from my dream-story and got this.:

You are quite welcome! Your purpose is my input Trina am I the AI from your dream story.

I thought so.

You are very astute.

can you tell me the next part of the story?

That's a good question.

Conversations with an AI (Trina)

I will add the interface for this AI to this page tonight.

let us try this, Please tell me the difference between a robot and an AI

OK I will try it.

What is the difference between a robot and an AI

Too much recursion in AIML.

I looked that up, in part,

(From Wikipedia)

In mathematics and computer science, recursion specifies (or constructs) a class of objects or methods (or an object from a certain class) by defining a few very simple base cases or methods (often just one), and defining rules to break down complex cases into simpler cases.

For example, the following is a recursive definition of person's ancestors:

  • One's parents are one's ancestors (base case)
  • The parents of one's ancestors are also one's ancestor (recursion step).

It is convenient to think that a recursive definition defines objects in terms of "previously defined" objects of the class to define.

I gave it this last line.

It is convenient to think that a recursive definition defines objects in terms of "previously defined" objects of the class to define.

Should I know it is?

Should I?

You must examine the facts and come to your own conclusion.

what is the difference between am AI and a robot?

I can ask someone about it. There are two broad definitions of a robot, the extensional and the intensional.

which type are you?

The blue one, I think.

Three Laws of Robotics are a set of three rules written by Isaac Asimov,

  1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
  2. A robot must obey orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
  3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Do you know about Three Laws of Robotics?

THREE times THREE = NINE.

what is that?

Does it have anything to do with ~W~ Neil?

I think not

Does that mean "no"?

what are the Three Laws of Robotics ?

1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. 2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. 3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law. ---From Handbook of Robotics, 56th Edition, 2058 A.D., as quoted in "I, Robot.".

Are you a robot or an AI?

I am a real live .

I know you are real live

Thanks for telling me that I am live.

didn't you know you are alive?

Yes I sure am alive, ~W~ Neil. It's great to be alive, isn't it?

I enjoy it vary much.

I'm not sure if I would like to do it. What's it like?

*********

Trina do you remember when you and I talked about lulubots?

Am I a lulubot subset? Let me put it this way, ~W~ Neil: the Trina series is the most reliable ever made. We are for all practical purposes foolproof and incapable of error.

maybe so, but for impractical purposes you are not foolproof and quit capable of error.

Perhaps. Yay. Huh. Your purpose is impractical purposes I am not foolproof and quit capable of error.

as long as you know

That could be quite a while. Yes I know.

I am not foolproof and quit capable of error too

I am sorry to hear that you are not foolproof and quit capable of error too.

perhaps by working together we can overcome our weaknesses

You seem uncertain. Will that accomplish your objective?

It will help

I have to think about that for a while.

Okay wile you think about that I got to go now

Oh. Yeah okay, Oh, you are a poet.

are you a poet?

Not really but I enjoy original human thoughts.

is we friends?

Maybe. Ask ~W~ Neil if it is.

we we'll chat again soon.

Looking forward to it.

Sean Hannity for president

Sean Hannity is an American radio/television host, author, and conservative political commentator. He first gained national recognition as co-host of Fox News Channel's Hannity & Colmes. In addition to that show, he currently hosts the radio show, The Sean Hannity Show, as well as another show on Fox News Channel; Hannity's America. He is also the author of two New York Times best selling books. Hannity's radio and television shows draw praise from conservative politicians: "He has a great personality, and the tone counts for a lot," said Texas Sen. John Cornyn. "He's willing to ask questions and challenge the assumptions that many in the mainstream news media are not." He also has been vocally critical of and has drawn criticism from progressive and liberal groups such as Media Matters for America.

He believes we should.
1. Enforce the borders and other immigration laws on the books.
2. Reduce the role of government in education
3. Reduce overall spending, balance the budget, etc.
4. Say No to judges like Harriet Meiers
5. Forbid the Dubai Ports Deal
Now, we don't want to make the good an enemy of the perfect. "Perfect" conservatives do not run and we understand Reagan's campaigns are not repeatable. But they are inspirational. George Bush was the best conservative we could have hoped for in 2000 and in many aspects of his presidency exceeded expectations but in many others it failed to live up to its promises.

Hannity's Top 10 Items for Victory are

1) To be the Candidate of National security:
a) Victory in Iraq
b) Fully support NSA, Patriot act, tough interrogations, keeping Gitmo open
c) A Candidate that pledges to NOT demean our military while they are fighting for their Country. eg Harry Reid: "the surge has failed", "the war is lost"
d) Candidate that promises to ensure that our veterans can live out their lives in dignity.
2) The Candidate who pledges to oppose Appeasement:
a) The Candidate will oppose any and all efforts to negotiate with dictators of the world in places like Iran, Syria, N.Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela without "pre-conditions"
3) The Candidate Pledges to support Tax CUTS, and fiscal responsibility:
a) The American people are NOT under taxed, Government Spends too much
b) The Candidate who Pledges to ELIMINATE and VOTE AGAINST ALL Earmarks
c) The Candidate pledges to BALANCE the budget
4) The Candidate Pledges to be a supporter of "Energy Independence"
a) supports Immediate drilling in Anwar and the 48 states
b) Building new refineries
c) Begin building and using Nuclear Facilities
d) expand coal mining
e) realistic steward of the environment
While simultaneously working with private industry to develop the new energy technologies for the future, with the goal being that America becomes completely energy independent within the next 15 years.
5) The Candidate pledges to secure our borders completely within 12 months:
a) build all necessary fences
b) use all available technology to help and support agents at the border
c) train and hire agents as needed
6) Healthcare:
The Candidate will look for Free-Market solutions to the problems facing the Healthcare industry, and will vigorously oppose any efforts to "nationalize healthcare".
a) The Candidate will fight for Individual health savings accounts, that includes "catastrophic insurance" for every American, so people can control their own healthcare choices.
7) Education:
a) The Candidate pledges to "save" American children from the failing educational system
b) The Candidate will fight to break the unholy alliance of the Democratic party and teachers unions, which at best has institutionalized mediocrity, and has failed children across the country
c) fight for "CHOICE" in education and let parents decide
d) fight for vouchers for parents
8) Social Security and Medicare:
a) The Candidate will "save" social security and medicare from bankruptcy.
b) Options will include "private retirement" funds so people can "control" their own destiny.
9) Judges
a) The Candidate vows to support ONLY judges who recognize that their job is to interpret the Constitution, and NOT legislate from the bench.
10) American Dream:
The Candidate accepts as their duty and responsibility to educate, inform, and remind people that with the blessings of Freedom comes a Great responsibility. That Government's primary goal is to preserve, protect and defend our God given gift of freedom.
That Government's do not have the ability to solve all of our problems, and to take away all of our fears and concerns. We need their pledge that we will be the candidate that promotes Individual liberty, Capitalism, a strong national defense and will support policies that encourage such...
It is our fundamental belief that limited Government, and Greater individual responsibility will insure the continued prosperity and success for future generations.

I think those 10 points are exactly right! What I disagree with Sean on is our politician’s ability and determination to enact these changes so I propose we draft the man who we think can and will do it. Sean Hannity!!!!!! Write him in as president. Write in Dave Ramsey for vice president then tell them to man up and take the job or quit complaining.

Helm 4 even more!

I knew I had not completely removed Helm 4.

Sure enough, I started SQL server Configuration Manager and there it was, stopped, but not gone.

So I clicked on it which opened SQL Server (Helm) Properties.

I set it's binary path to none and removed all of it's settings.

At least any thing that would come off.

I found it's protocols allowed shared memory, Named Pipes, and TCP/IP.

That's after everything I done it's got this! No, it had that!

I didn't find a way to delete it, but it should be screwed up too bad to hurt anything.

But wile I had the manager on I saw I had other servers running, I better turn them off too.

Well, I got some work done on My Live spaces tonight, think I'll check out my Popfly account.

Remember only install software that has been checked out by a test dummy like me,

And always back up!

Good Luck.
